Cenino Rosé 2025
Producer and Origin
Produced in the area of the village of Tsenino, Nova Zagora, in the Thracian Valley (PGI Thracian Valley) – one of the warmest and sunniest wine regions in Bulgaria, especially suitable for elegant, fruity, and fresh rosés.
Region and Terroir
The climate is continental-Mediterranean with long, warm summers and mild winters. The soils are clayey-sandy with limestone inclusions, providing good drainage and fine minerality. Stylistically, the rosé is closer to southern French, Provençal examples than to the denser traditional Bulgarian rosés.
Grape Composition
Depending on the vintage – a blend with an emphasis on Cabernet Franc and/or Syrah, selected for a fresh, light, and modern style.
Vinification
Early morning harvest, short skin contact (direct pressing / brief maceration), fermentation in stainless steel at low temperature, and short aging on fine lees for added freshness and delicate texture.
Character of the 2025 Vintage
A warm and sunny year without extreme heat, producing a rosé with a clean fruity profile, balanced acidity, and elegant style.
