Cenino Rosé 2025

Producer and origin

Produced around the village of Tsenino, Nova Zagora, in the Thracian Valley (PGI Thracian Valley) — one of Bulgaria’s warmest, sunniest wine regions, ideal for elegant, fruity, fresh rosés.

Region and terroir

Continental-Mediterranean climate with long, warm summers and mild winters. Clay-sandy soils with limestone provide good drainage and fine minerality. Stylistically closer to southern French, Provençal rosés than to the fuller traditional Bulgarian styles.

Grape composition

Depending on the vintage — a blend led by Cabernet Franc and/or Syrah, crafted for a fresh, light, modern style.

Vinification

Early morning harvest, brief skin contact (direct pressing / short maceration), stainless-steel fermentation at low temperature, and short aging on fine lees for extra freshness and delicate texture.

Character of the 2025 vintage

Warm, sunny year without extreme heat, yielding a rosé with pure fruit, balanced acidity, and an elegant style.

Tasting notes

Color — pale pink, salmon hue.

Aroma — strawberry, raspberry, cherry, grapefruit, pink pepper, fresh herbs.

Palate — light, refreshing, with delicate acidity and a clean, mineral finish.

Style — modern, aperitif-friendly, highly drinkable.

1–2 years; best enjoyed young.
